I don't think I did very good.

So I have been hearing so many stories of people getting sWeeeeet deals on groceries and stuff, so I thought I would give it a try. Well I cut up all my coupons and printed a bunch off line... then I looked for the sales and tried to combine sales with coupons. There was a sale on cereal at Albertsons so I took all my cereal coupons there. The only problem was the size of the sale and coupon were different. The other problem was they were out of almost everything that was on sale! Dumb! I should have gone this morning. Anyway This is what I got for 43.00. My savings was 33.83 and the cereal came to about 2.00 a box. Not a bad deal but not too good. I hope I get better at this before I give up.

A penny saved is a penny earned! I've been wondering... where the heck to you get manufacturers coupons? Do I have to buy a Sunday paper? Ugh that would make me have to read it ;) You are awesome for trying!

Oh, Cherie--at least you have started doing that! I have been putting it off and putting it off. I am sure you will start finding some killer deals soon--and when you do, I may need some advice and help myself!

Well, I was so proud of myself for using $17 worth of coupons at Walmart, $30 is great! And yes, I get most of mine from the paper but I enjoy reading it ;)
